Why Travel with Us?
*Very small group size – maximum of 6 participants. This maximises both the attention paid to your photography and skill development, as well as giving you lots of space to move around in the vehicle so that your viewpoint is the very best it can be.
*Two guides – a photographic coach as well as an experienced South African field guide. The experience is so much deeper when you are learning not only about photography but also about the wildlife you are encountering every day.
*Avoid the crowds – we seek out areas of the park which are furthest away from other people, giving you a more personal connection to the landscape we are exploring
*Budget friendly – we firmly believe that a great photographic tour does not need to break your budget. Chances are, your photography already does that! We choose comfortable accommodation, but not extravagant – because we are usually only in our rooms for sleeping. Most of our time is spent ‘doing’, either out looking for wildlife, learning photographic skills, or taking a well deserved meal break – with enough down time to re-charge your batteries, but no ‘rest days’ spent in your room.
* We welcome single travellers. We understand that your passion for photography may not be shared by your partner 🙂 Our prices are quoted at sharing rates, and we will partner you with a ‘room mate’ of the same gender
* We make use of locally based travel companies that are known to us, to ensure all licenses and insurances are in place. We subcontract the operational side of the trip to these experienced tour operators, leaving Rick to ensure that the photographic component of the tour is of the highest quality.
