Join Me For A Fascinating Journey Into The World of the Night Sky with an Astrophotography Masterclass
Learn the art and photographic techniques needed to capture stunning images of the night sky in this astrophotography masterclass. Overcome the unique issues that confront photographers capturing images after dark, and learn to take night sky images you’ll love. We’ll tackle four subject areas: stars as points of light, star trails, Milky Way, and the aurora. Low light photography has never been so accessible!
What We Cover:
*Gear basics – setting yourself up for success
*Fundamentals of night photography
*Different types of exposures
*Focusing in low light
*Helpful apps for astrophotography
*Different types of twilight
*Other nocturnal subjects and photography
Along with the course manual you will also receive invaluable charts: hyperfocal distance, exposure charts and star trail patterns by hemisphere so that you know what to expect when travelling.
NOTE: unfortunately we cannot predict cloud cover. We will be practising the techniques and skills required for night sky photography, but you may not return home with perfect shots on the night due to the nature of the weather. If the skies should open, the course will be rescheduled for an alternative date.
